Public consultation

Consultation events took place before the Planning submission, in October 2019 and November 2022, with residents’ feedback resulting in some changes to the design. A further event took place in February 2023.

Planning application

As part of the statutory Planning consultation process, the Planning proposals were first advertised in November 2023 and then re-advertised with some amendments in March 2024.

Residents were able to view and comment on the application via our Planning Portal and these responses were considered by the Planning Committee in reaching their decision.

Before the main construction phase begins

Before the main works begin, we'll arrange a ‘meet the contractor event’. This will be an opportunity to:

  • share more information about the programme of work
  • talk through any concerns residents may have

Details of this event will be shared with residents nearer the time.
