About the Windlesham Close development

As part of the New Homes for Neighbourhoods programme, the council proposes to build a block of up to 15 new council homes on the site of Windlesham House, on the corner of Windlesham Close and Locks Crescent in Portslade. Planning permission for the scheme was granted on 7 August 2024.

The development would build much-needed one and 2 bedroom council homes, with one home being wheelchair accessible. The surrounding green spaces will also be improved with new planting, trees and benches. The proposals would provide one accessible parking space.
