About the Portslade Village Centre project

As part of the New Homes for Neighbourhoods programme, the council is planning to demolish the Portslade Village Centre building and create a new community centre and 28 new council homes. Plans also include new public spaces with space to grow food.

The development will provide new one, two and three bed homes as well as a modern and accessible community centre on the site. The proposals aim to provide new, high quality outside space for existing and access through to Portslade Village Green.

Garages at Lindfield and Blakers Court will be demolished to provide access to the new buildings and parking spaces for new residents.
