About the Edward Street Car Park Project

This site is a council owned surface car park. It currently rents spaces to council tenants and leaseholders as well as private customers.  

The site has been identified as suitable for the development of council homes to rent. A new sheltered housing scheme for those aged 55 and over has also been proposed, along with some general needs homes and improved landscaping.
