Circus Street municipal market site

The 2.4 acre Circus Street site was home to the municipal fruit and vegetable market and the university annex building. We've transformed it into an ‘innovation quarter’ with brand new office, residential and creative spaces.

Construction started in August 2017 and finished in July 2022 with the opening of the Dance Space.

Developers U+I Plc estimate the project will create 400 jobs and inject £200 million into the city’s economy over 10 years.
