Previous consultation

The council undertook an initial round of consultation after the application was submitted in 2021. The application was then revised, and a second round of consultation was carried out by Brighton & Hove City Council, which finished in January 2023.

A revised scheme went to a full public re-consultation in February 2024. In total, 1,807 comments were received, including 1,733 objections and 58 in support. 36 statutory bodies also responded to the consultations.

These, and all documents relating to the application, can be viewed through our online Planning Register by searching for application BH2021/04167.
