The application was refused at a special Planning Committee meeting on 22 May 2024.

The developer submitted an appeal to the government’s Planning Inspectorate on 7 October 2024. The inquiry will start on 18 March 2025.

A final decision by the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government is expected by summer 2025.
