The application followed a previous application on the site for an Aldi food store (ref: BH2021/03511), which was withdrawn by the applicant in January 2022.
The consultation for the most recent application states that was done “in order to resolve outstanding issues raised by consultees and better understand progress with the proposed highways arrangements for the adjacent Toads Hole Valley (THV) application.”
