Landscape architect Kim Wilkie presents his Vision of A Brighton Landscape - his view on what the City Downland Estate could look like in 100 years’ time.
About A Brighton Landscape by Kim Wilkie
The landscape, and the soil and water that underpins this, is what makes up the special qualities of both the City Downland Estate and the South Downs National Park.
To help inform ‘Vision making’ and to assist in the consultation we have commissioned landscape architect Kim Wilkie to produce his Vision of A Brighton Landscape.
This is a high level and inter-generational landscape vision and just one view on what the City Downland Estate could look like in 100 years’ time.
Soil and water led, A Brighton Landscape takes into consideration opportunities to provide a connected landscape for improved:
- soil health
- habitat protection
- climate change mitigation
- carbon sequestration
