This map shows all the different ways you can access areas within the downland estate, including footpaths, bridleways and Open Access land, plus the cycle paths that lead to it.
Dark Night Sky Quality
This map shows where light pollution is at it’s lowest/highest across our downland estate, showing areas where dark night skies can best be enjoyed.
Heritage
This map shows areas within the downland estate identified as worthy of conservation and protection.
Historic Landscape Character
This map shows how the land within the downland estate has traditionally been used.
Landscape Character assessment
This shows how the South Downs National Park Authority classifies the land that forms the downland estate.
