Get help with your shopping 

If you’d like help with your shopping, NHS Volunteer Responders are here for you.

You can choose what products you want and when you want them. An NHS Volunteer Responder will then pick up and deliver your shopping to you. They can also pick up prescriptions or any other essentials you need. Call 0808 196 3646 (8am to 8pm) to arrange volunteer support.

Ageing Well service

The Aging Well website is sharing information on how to get through this difficult time. Their support directory for people aged 50+ is updated every few days and has a list of local and national services to help maintain physical and mental health. It includes services that can help you with:

  • befriending
  • entertainment
  • exercise
  • food
  • shopping
  • financial help
  • digital support and health information
