Who can register for the landlord portal
If you're a Benefit Landlord and you receive Housing Benefit payments on behalf of your tenant, you can register for the landlord portal.
What the landlord portal allows you to do
The landlord portal is a free online service that helps you manage your payments.
The landlord portal will allow you to:
- access electronic copies of your payment schedules and notification letters
- check current claim information for tenants you receive payments for - including current claim status, (active, suspended or closed)
- check your Housing Benefit history
- check your payment history
If your tenant receives Universal Credit and you receive your rental payments directly from the Department for Work and Pensions, then you won't be able to use the landlord portal for that tenant. You will need to contact the Department for Work and Pensions.
