We've aware of a national scam where people are asked to pay parking fines via text. We'll never text you to request a payment for a parking fine. We'll only contact you about parking fines via letter, or email if you have already provided it to us. If you have any doubts, contact the Parking Team.
What happens after you've registered for the landlord portal
Find out what happens after you've registered for the landlord portal.
We aim to send your username and password within 5 working days (don't forget to check your junk folder).
If you haven't received an email after 5 working days, send an email to HBLLPortal@brighton-hove.gov.uk with your:
- name or organisation name
- landlord reference numbers
- email address - this must match your login email address
When payments are processed
Housing Benefit payments to landlords are processed on a Thursday. You'll be able to view your payment in the portal immediately. Payments will not credit bank accounts until the Monday after.
This may vary on a bank holiday weekend.
