About rent and fees 

Your allotment rent and the waiting list administration fee may increase each year. The amount they increase by depends on the outcome of the council budget.

For the October 2024 to September 2025 growing year the increase is 11.1% and will come into effect in October.

This means that from October 2024 the:

  • waiting list administration fee has increased to £20.70
  • charge for plots has increased to 40 pence per square metre, per year 
  • annual administration fee has increased to £27.50
  • fee for a mobility plot will remain £10
