Sussex Bears are the largest community interest basketball club operated as a social enterprise utilising sport generally, or basketball specifically as a tool for social change. Sussex Bears Wheelchair basketball team are the current South East Division 3 winners and next season could have a couple of teams in the national leagues. They will help players of all abilities get the most out of the sport.
The drop-in is staffed by a team of Volunteer Linguists who are able to support people with a language need to access services in Brighton & Hove.
Switchboard is a charity for LGBTQ people looking for community, support or information. We connect people and support them directly through specially developed Switchboard services or link them to other specialist organisations.
Set up in 1975 Switchboard has been listening to, informing and supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people in Brighton & Hove and beyond. Originally a helpline, we have developed additional services and now offer much more.

Through peer-support, advocacy and building links within the community, they aim to break down barriers, stigmas and discrimination and work to promote a sense of individual and collective identity.

Women's Aid has been working with women and children experiencing domestic violence over forty years. This site has been created so that children and young people can access more information about domestic violence that's easy to read and understand.

Founded in 2013, Time to Talk Befriending overcomes loneliness experienced by older people through a range of relationship centred, excellence accredited, befriending services.
The charity operates across Brighton and Hove, Adur and Worthing in Sussex and specialises in intergenerational projects, chaplaincy, and signposting, in addition to providing a blended model of telephone, face to face and group befriending.
