A national charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of people affected by, and at risk of, diabetes. They provide information, advocacy, help and peer support, so people with diabetes can manage their condition effectively.

Mind Brighton and Hove

A local charity that works to promote good mental health in Brighton and Hove. They seek to empower people to lead a full life as part of their community. The local directory has been designed to help individuals and professionals locate services and resources which directly or indirectly promote and support mental health and wellbeing. NHS, other statutory, voluntary and non-profit making organisations are all included.

MindOut - LGBTQ mental health service

A local mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay men, bisexual, trans and queer people.

MindOut offer a rolling timetable of groups themed around different subjects and identities, including trans groups, non-binary groups, BAME groups, over 50s groups, under 30s groups, women's groups, bi groups, men's groups, and queer groups amongst others.

A charity that provides information, advocacy and advice services across England, offering direct and local suppor. Their independent, free services reach individuals struggling with particular challenges in their lives by supporting, enabling, and empowering people to express their views and concerns and access information and services where needed.

Survivors Network

A national charity that aims to reduce sexual violence and its impact on survivors' lives. They understand that a healing journey starts with a small step and they are there to help you with a range of professional relevant services (such as advocacy and counselling), to survivors of any gender aged 14+, who have experienced any form of sexual violence.

Sussex Armed Forces Network

A group working to improve the lives of the local armed forces community. The network also includes advocates who have the skills and knowledge to support by linking with other organisations, or by signposting to where additional support could be received.

Switchboard

Switchboard is a charity for LGBTQ people looking for community, support or information. We connect people and support them directly through specially developed Switchboard services or link them to other specialist organisations.

Set up in 1975 Switchboard has been listening to, informing and supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people in Brighton & Hove and beyond. Originally a helpline, we have developed additional services and now offer much more.
