A good neighbour befriending scheme that supports older people, people with physical disabilities and carers by recruiting local volunteers to support them in a variety of ways. The scheme operates in seventeen neighbourhoods of Brighton & Hove.
The NCS helps by finding local volunteers to assist people in a number of ways such as befriending, accompanying out into the community, telephone support, form filling, dog walking and more.
