Bring Dementia Out

Bring Dementia Out is an initiative of the Alzheimer's Society, which aims to raise awareness and provide support for LGBT+ people affected by dementia. Visit the website for information about the initiative and for helpful advice and practical tips for supporting a lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans (LGBT) person living with dementia.

Clinic T (Trans clinic)

A local sexual health service for anyone who identifies as trans or gender variant (partners are welcome too). The clinic runs every three months is free of charge and completely confidential, their staff have been trained in trans awareness.

FTM Brighton

A local group for transgender men, trans masculine people, genderqueer people, non-binary people, those assigned intersex and/or female at birth and that fit somewhere else on or off the spectrum or those who are questioning their gender identity. They will provide a social space, support, advice and co-ordinate local campaigns relevant to those we support.

LGBT Brighton & Hove Support Network

A local support network promoting equality and inclusion within and between diverse groups, run by a small team of dedicated volunteers. They aim to improve access to support services and have a directory of local LGBT services and groups. They also provide a community network page on facebook that allows members and organisations to freely communicate with each other about local campaigns, activities and events.

MindOut - LGBTQ mental health service

A local mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay men, bisexual, trans and queer people.

MindOut offer a rolling timetable of groups themed around different subjects and identities, including trans groups, non-binary groups, BAME groups, over 50s groups, under 30s groups, women's groups, bi groups, men's groups, and queer groups amongst others.
