A local charity that provides support to families and carers of children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities in Brighton and Hove. They also offer independent support services to young people up until their 25th birthday.

BILD - The British Institute of Learning Disabilities

A national charity supporting people with learning disabilities to be valued equally, participate fully in their communities and be treated with dignity and respect. They help develop the organisations who provide services, and the people who give support, as well as campaigning for proper funding for support for people with learning disabilities and their family carers, and against bad practice

Brighton and Hove City Council Community Learning Disability Team

Specialist help is available from the Community Learning Disability Team (CLDT) to enable adults with learning disabilities to live full and healthy lives. The service supports people with a learning disability aged 18 years and older who live permanently in the city or are registered with a GP practice in the city.

We help people with learning disabilities to make choices, have increased opportunities, access mainstream services and take part in the local community.

Brighton Table Tennis Club

Brighton Table Tennis Club works with people of all ages, especially young people, to improve health, celebrate diversity and build a strong community. They run sessions for young people of all ages and backgrounds, those aged 50+, adults with learning disabilities, children in care, at over 10 schools, colleges and more.

Care Management Group

Care Management Group supports adults with learning disabilities who may also have other complex needs such as autism, mental health needs, challenging behaviour or physical disabilities, to live as independently as possible in the community. Their personalised services include supported living, residential care, day services and outreach in the Brighton area.

Fan Dance Theatre Company

Fan Dance Theatre Company is a Brighton based company of performers with and without disabilities who make feature length shows and deliver integrated creative workshops. Performers work together to produce unique pieces encompassing comedy, shadow imagery, dance and acting. Their mission is to use a range of inclusive and artistic approaches to create fun performances for festivals, social events, schools and colleges.
