Being at risk of homelessness or actually homeless can be very stressful. It is important to get help and advice at an early stage. Brighton & Hove City Council can help.
A local floating support service that helps 16- 25 year olds who have become homeless and have been given independent accommodation through the council or through children services. The support offered is person centred and can last up to a year. They work with young people with different backgrounds, needs and circumstances such as young families, care leavers, and young people with little support networks.

A local service providing first aid and primary health care to homeless and vulnerably housed people in Brighton and Hastings. They train both homeless people and those affected by drugs and alcohol in basic first aid skills, and also offer training to frontline workers in first aid treatment for problems associated with homelessness such as drug overdoses.

You might be able to get free and confidential advice from Civil Legal Advice on issues such as debt, if your home is at risk, housing if you're homeless or at risk of being evicted, domestic abuse, family issues, or if your child's being taken into care.
