They also run monthly socials across Sussex which people can join, while they wait to be matched to a Gig Buddy volunteer.

Going out to see bands, clubbing, or seeing friends is part of everyday life for lots of people. However, if you have a learning disability you may need support to do this. They also run Gig Buddies, where they match adults who have a learning disability to a volunteer who has similar interests, to go to events together.
Sussex Bears are the largest community interest basketball club operated as a social enterprise utilising sport generally, or basketball specifically as a tool for social change. Sussex Bears Wheelchair basketball team are the current South East Division 3 winners and next season could have a couple of teams in the national leagues. They will help players of all abilities get the most out of the sport.
