A local project aiming to enable people who have a history of being devalued, disempowered or denied opportunities to live as normal a life as possible ? to enjoy the same range of activities and experiences as anyone else and to have opportunities for personal growth and development.

They offer support and training where appropriate, in practical skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, managing medication, budgeting and social activities to people with mental health needs and substance misuse issues.

Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project

Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project (BUCFP) was set up in 1981 and is a registered charity. BUCFP provide practical support, education, advice, lunch clubs and much more to the unemployed, those in poor living conditions, benefit claimants, pensioners, families and those on low incomes.
