Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals - Macmillan Horizon Centre

The Macmillan Horizon Centre will be opening in Summer 2016. It has been designed with input from people affected by cancer to make it the best place to offer the support and services that people in Sussex need. The centre will offer all round support from a team of specialists in a calm, friendly and welcoming environment.

Clinic T (Trans clinic)

A local sexual health service for anyone who identifies as trans or gender variant (partners are welcome too). The clinic runs every three months is free of charge and completely confidential, their staff have been trained in trans awareness.

NHS Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)

The Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is led by a group of local doctors and nurses and brings together all GP practices in the city. They also have a network of patient participation groups (PPGs), which are run locally by volunteer patients and practice managers who contribute ideas and feedback suggestions directly to their practices.

Practice Plus Brighton Station

Brighton Station Health Centre is now part of the Practice Plus network; a comprehensive NHS GP service, improved to give patients a better experience whenever they need medical advice or care. The service offers NHS patients speedier and more convenient appointments, improved access to their GP or nurse and eliminates the 8am telephone queue. Practice Plus is designed to serve patients in the local community, welcoming all ages and medical conditions.

Sussex Community NHS Trust- Audiology Specialist Clinic

The Audiology Specialist Clinic offers a specialist service for adults with learning disabilities when routine appointments would not suit their needs. Assessment of hearing is approached flexibly and they provide additional support to patients and support teams around hearing aid use. The clinic has close links with local Community Learning Disability Teams and some clinics are jointly held with a Speech and Language Therapists from the Brighton & Hove CLDT.
