Child Bereavement UK

A national charity that supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Their vision is for all families to have the support they need to rebuild their lives.

Child Death Helpline

A national helpline that aims to provide a quality freephone service to anyone affected by the death of a child of any age. They provide support not only at times of crisis but also for ongoing needs of callers over their lifetime. The helpline is staffed by volunteers, all of them bereaved parents trained, supervised and supported by professional teams.

Dying Matters

A national coalition of 30,000 members across England and Wales which aims to help people talk more openly about dying, death and bereavement, and to make plans for the end of life.

Facing the Future

The Facing the Future service has been developed by Samaritans and Cruse Bereavement Care to help support people who have been bereaved by suicide.

Facing the Future support groups will give you the opportunity to meet others who have lost someone to suicide and share your experiences and feelings. Each support group is run by two trained volunteer facilitators from Samaritans and Cruse Bereavement Care and the groups run once a week over six consecutive weeks, with each session lasting for 90 minutes. There are a minimum of five and a maximum of eight participants in each group and sessions are free of charge.

A national service providing confidential emotional support, 24 hours a day. You donÂ't have to be suicidal to call, they are there for you if you are worried about anything, feel upset or confused, or you just want to talk to someone.

Support after suicide

A partnership of over 20 members: organisations and individuals who work to support those who are bereaved by suicide.

Support After Suicide provide online information and advice to help people cope after they or someone they support has been bereaved by suicide.
