A local floating support service that helps 16- 25 year olds who have become homeless and have been given independent accommodation through the council or through children services. The support offered is person centred and can last up to a year. They work with young people with different backgrounds, needs and circumstances such as young families, care leavers, and young people with little support networks.
How to access the service:
- Self-referrals are accepted from young people over the phone
- Referrals from professionals are also welcome
- Priority is given to Brighton and Hove City Council Housing Departments, Children Services, as well as any partner organisations listed on the Brighton & Hove housing or accommodation pathway
- They aim to acknowledge referrals within 24 hours if the client is in crisis or within 48 hours for standard support
