Free bus passes, disabled parking, borrowing wheelchairs, and how to get around the city if you can't use public transport.
If you’re an older person, or you have a disability you can apply for a free bus pass.
You can also get reduced fares if you’re a Brighton & Hove Carers' Card holder or a Compass Card holder.

If you have a permanent disability that effects your mobility, you can apply for a Blue Badge.
If you have a Blue Badge you can park in:

You can apply for a Blue Badge on GOV.UK, or complete the Blue Badge application form.
If you have a Blue Badge, you can apply for a parking bay outside or near your home. You must be the driver or live with the driver, and have no off street parking like a garage or driveway.
To apply for a bay, complete the disabled persons parking bay application form.
Carers can also apply for a parking permit to use in permit bays or shared use bays. Find out how to apply for a carers parking permit.
If you have difficulty with your mobility, or you're a wheelchair user, Community Transport can help. They provide safe and affordable transport for people who can’t easily use public transport.
They also run the Easylink shopping bus, and provide transport to lunch clubs and for social trips.

You'll need a radar key to use locked disabled toilets in Brighton & Hove.
If you have a disability, or you think you need one because of other health reasons, you can apply for a radar key.

If you find it difficult to walk because of a permanent disability, you could borrow a wheelchair from the NHS.
We can't refer you for a wheelchair, a GP needs to refer you.
