Sussex Disc Golf
Disc golf is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or Frisbee®. The sport was formalized in the 1970's, and shares with "ball golf" the object of completing each hole in the fewest strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest throws). If you are interested in trying disc golf then you are more than welcome to join us. We play regular weekend and evening rounds throughout the summer and even the harshest of winter weather rarely dampens our enthusiasm for the game. We can provide coaching and equipment for beginners and are happy to cater for all ability levels. We play mainly in Brighton at Stanmer Park but also play in Eastbourne and Hastings. We play using portable baskets and have a well established 9 hole short course and 18 hole course at Stanmer Park.
