Food at Acorn Nursery

Acorn Nursery promotes healthy eating and for all of our meals we use Little Tums food service.

Find out more about Little Tums.

Little Tums provide healthy hot meals using freshest ingredients which are delivered to the premises twice a day for lunch and for tea and are included in the price for all fee-paying parents.

Children who use funding alone to access nursery sessions are welcome to pay for the meals so that their child can also have the advantage of these healthy meals.

Meals

Nursery fees are inclusive of all meals. If you are claiming funding for your child, you are very welcome to pay for a meal or meals as part of the session or to book chargeable sessions on top of the funded session which then include meals.

  • Breakfast - toast, cereals and milk (provided by Acorn nursery)
  • Snack - am and pm - fruit, vegetables, crackers, breadsticks and humous/cream cheese (provided by nursery)
  • Lunch- hot meal and a pudding (See Little Tums menu)
  • Tea- tea and a pudding (See Little Tums menu)

For those children accessing the funded sessions only and have the option to attend providing their own health packed lunch or they have the option of ordering our Little Tums meals.
