Why we are processing your data
We are collecting your data for the purpose of providing you with an apprenticeship training programme.
We have a legal basis for collecting this data as either:
you have opted to enter into a contract with us to deliver the above should you be successful
it is considered necessary to enable us to carry out our tasks, functions, duties or powers or to perform a task carried out in the public interest
We may collect data concerning health to ensure as an employer we can make any reasonable adjustments in the workplace. We may also share with the training provider so they can make any reasonable adjustments to delivering the apprenticeship.
Your data may be shared with:
your team and service managers
an apprenticeship approval panel in order to evaluate your application
the training provider for you to access their apprenticeship programme
the Apprenticeship Service in order to access the ESFA funding
We will hold your data for a period of six years from the date you leave the council.
Your information rights
Under GDPR you have certain rights concerning your information.
We aim to resolve all complaints about how we handle personal information. You also have the right to make a complaint about data protection to the Information Commissioner's Office.
