This is a brief guide to the types of roles and the required qualifications, it is by no means exhaustive. Further information about courses can be gained from our approved providers of training.

There are many qualifications available in the childcare sector. Only staff holding qualifications that are deemed "full and relevant"  by the Teaching Agency can be counted in ratio. Qualifications can be checked here.
