Partial review of polling places
Review of polling places in East Brighton, Hangleton & Knoll, Hove Park, Goldsmid, St Peter's & North Laine, Wish and Withdean
The council recently carried out a partial review of polling places in certain wards of Brighton & Hove. The review ran from 23 March to 1 June 2012.
The review was carried out because a number of schools had asked the council to find alternative venues, and because some premises are no longer available for use as a polling place.
The results of the review were reported to the council's Policy & Resources Committee on 12 July 2012. The Committee resolved to designate the following new polling places:
