Green Flag Award new

Easthill Park has a large number of attractive features that include a beautiful walled garden, full of mature shrubs and herbaceous borders. The War Memorial provides a focal point for the well-attended Remembrance Sunday Parade.

Easthill Park war memorial

The War Memorial originally stood outside the Royal British Legion Hall in Trafalgar Road, Portslade. Due to an increase in usage of the highway it was moved to Easthill Park in 1954, where it was felt that a respectful service would be able to be carried out. The remembrance service attracts some 200 people every year and is one of the best-attended memorial services within the city.

Easthill Park is one of six parks in the city that is recognised by the Green Flag award scheme.
