Parks and Countryside

Devils Dyke

We want to have green spaces that are used and valued by the whole community. Along with Natural England we aim at everyone having an accessible natural greenspace less than 300 metres from their home.

We have six Green Flag parks in the city, which have been recognised for their environmental standards and the service they provide for their communities.

Your main parks - such as Stanmer Park, Preston Park, The Level and Queens Park.

Your main countryside & green spaces - such as Devils Dyke, Ditchling Beacon and Chattri Memorial. Find out what local activities are happening in your parks on our Your parks events web page.
