If you have a permanent disability that affects your mobility then you may be eligible for a Blue Badge.
You will need to fill in the Blue Badge application form providing all required proofs and sending to the Blue Badge department.
We are currently awaiting new application forms, which will be available soon to download. If you would like to request an application form to be sent in the post please complete this online Blue Badge application request form and a blue badge will be sent to you, complete the online application form or download a Blue Badge application form and guidance notes.
Please follow the guidance notes we send you when completing an application form.
The new administration fee for Blue Badges is £10. This will apply for Blue Badges starting on 1 April 2012.
We need to treat each renewal like a new application to make sure we are issuing Blue Badge to people who meet the Department for Transport criteria.
A renewal form will be sent to you six weeks before your current badge expires. Please complete this form and return it to us in person or by post.
It could take up to six weeks to process your application.
We will assess your application based on the information provided. We may arrange for a home visit to assess your mobility but will let you know if this is the case.
