Claude Nicol Sexual Health Clinic

Free and confidential specialist sexual health service for HIV & Sexually Transmitted Infection testing.

The Claude Nicol Centre offers a range of services including sexual health screening, management of patients with HIV, including a young person's clinic and a gay & bisexual men's clinic. There is a walk-in service (no appointment necessary) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8.30am-10.30am. Booked appointments are available through the week. 

A Sexual Health clinic is also available at 175 Preston Road on Thursday afternoons between 4.15pm and 6pm. Call 01273 664721, between 9am and 4.30pm to book an appointment.

Terrence Higgins Trust South (THT)   

THT offers a range of services range from testing for HIV and STIs, to counselling and support groups. They include benefits advice, training courses, and volunteers to help people in the community. They provide help if you're living with HIV, help for positive people’s friends and family, and help to improve everyone's sexual health.

Community HIV Specialist Service

The Brighton & Hove Team is made up of specialist HIV nurses, a specialist mental health nurse, a part time consultant psychiatrist, and a health promotion specialist. The team offers nursing support with home visits and health checks and information to help clients, their carers and family make choices about their health and social care needs. We can talk through your concerns, provide information, support and advice, and point you in the right direction to other services that you might need.

The Sussex Beacon

The Sussex Beacon is a clinical care centre. We aim to improve the health of local men, women and families living with HIV, by offering clinicaland social support. We provide a holistic approach to meet the changing physical, social and psychological needs of our clients to help them achieve a better quality of life. Current services include
