What are the approximate wait times?
Please see below for waiting list details. Please note that all waiting list times are approximate. This information is current and up to date.

How do I put myself on the waiting list?
To place yourself on the resident waiting list please complete the correct form
and return it to us in person or by post remembering to send us the documents requested.
Once we receive your complete waiting list application we will confirm that you are on the waiting list and tell you your unique waiting list number. We will then contact you when a permit becomes available for your zone.
What position am I on the waiting list?
If you have your unique waiting list reference number you can check your waiting list position and whether you have been offered a permit.
You can now download the parking permit waiting list Parking Permit Waiting List and search for your reference number to see your position on the list.
Records highlighted in yellow have been offered a permit and the date shown is when an offer letter has been sent. Once you receive an offer letter you can then apply for your business or resident permit.
What if I am moving to an area with a waiting list?
If you are moving from an area without a waiting list to an area with a waiting list you will be required to wait for your permit. Please complete the waiting list application form.
Why can I not get a permit straight away and how are the permits allocated?
There are a set number of permits available for each zone and each month we offer the number of permits which have been returned or not renewed.
As this can vary considerably from month to month, these times are an estimate only.
