Council Connect opens in community libraries
Get online, get connected at your local library
Do you want to learn how to:
- Use the internet
- Social network sites like Facebook/Twitter and Skype
- Send emails
- Fill in forms online
- Shopping and paying bills on line e.g. Amazon, e-bay
- Help with Council services e.g. paying your rent/council tax, Homemove bids, registering to vote and many more.
Then use your local library – all Brighton and Hove libraries have free internet access and you can learn with one of our many volunteers. Sessions are 45 minutes long and our volunteer will help you determine whether you need further sessions.
Our volunteers will be available to help at the following times and locations each week:
| Library | day and time |
|---|---|
| Coldean Library |
Mondays 10am-1pm |
| Hangleton Library | Wednesdays 2-5pm |
| Hove Library | Mondays from 2-5pm |
| Jubilee Library | Wednesdays 10am-5pm |
| Portslade Library | Tuesdays 10am-1pm |
| Moulsecomb Library | Fridays 2-5pm |
| Westdene Library | Saturdays 10am-1pm |
| Whitehawk Library |
Saturdays 10am-1pm |
To use Council Connect residents just need to drop into their Library – we’d be happy to help.
If you’d like to let a friend or relative know about Council Connect please print and pass this leaflet on to them [pdf 65kb]
