Film and moving image

Brighton & Hove is a city popular with filmakers. It appears in blockbusters, documentaries, shorts, art films, music videos and adverts.

Our film festival Cinecity grows each year, showing high profile premieres alongside cutting edge creative work and talks, always with a strong presence of local film makers.

Oska Bright, the film festival for film makers with learning difficulties, now tours nationally and internationally. We are an international centre for Screen Dance (dance made specifically for film) and a regional centre for artists working in film and the moving image.
