Weddings in the Mayor's Parlour
For the perfect celebration...
The Mayor’s Parlour is the perfect setting for an intimate wedding or civil partnership ceremony.
This Victorian-style reception room is lavishly furnished with carpet from the Royal Pavilion and paintings from the Brighton Museum & Art Gallery. There are also artefacts that date back to the mid 1800s. In the Parlour display cabinets contain mayoral regalia, the maces of both Brighton and Hove and silverware that has been presented to the council.
There have been nearly 1.5 million weddings across Brighton and Hove since civil registration began in 1837. We are pleased to promote this exclusive venue for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies. It is the perfect setting for your special day.
The Mayor's Parlour can be hired for ceremonies Monday to Saturdays between the hours of 11:00am and 5:00pm. Ceremonies are performed by the Brighton & Hove Register Office (an additional fee is payable directly to them for this service).
We offer a bespoke wedding package and we can organise your flowers and floral arrangements and provide you with a chauffeur-driven wedding car if you wish. Please contact us on 01273 290569 or weddingsintheparlour@brighton-hove.gov.uk to request our wedding brochures for full details and prices.
