Comment on a planning application

Whether you want to comment on a neighbour's proposal, or on a major project affecting the whole city, your views are important

Please go to the Planning Register, look at the application and understand what is proposed. You can then leave your comments by clicking on the 'Make a Comment' button when looking at a specific application.  After clicking on this button you will also find a quick guide on what legally can be taken into account when making a decision on a planning application.

Your comments will be linked directly with the application but will not be published on the Planning Register.  However they will be publicly available on the case file. Currently we are unable to respond to your comments on an application, but you are welcome to speak to the case officer concerned.

You can also fax your comments to us on (01273) 292099 or write to us at:

Development Control, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ
