School Term and Holiday Dates in Brighton & Hove

The following dates are those on which all schools are closed.

Half term holidays:
For most schools in Brighton & Hove, half terms are a week long.  Please note that the statutory half term holidays are three days in February and three days in June. 

In-service Training (INSET) dates:
In addition to the school holiday dates, schools are closed for five teacher training days known as INSET days in a school year.  One of these days is always the first day of the autumn term.  

Academic Year 2010/2011

The first day of the Autumn term 2010 for pupils will be Thursday 2 September 2010
