Brighton & Hove as a business location

Brighton & Hove can offer the best of both worlds - an excellent business location in an exciting, cosmopolitan, European city by the sea.

The city is situated on the south coast of England, approximately 50 miles due south of central London.   It is just across the channel from northern France and 35 minutes from the international airport London Gatwick (LGW)- ideally placed to take advantage of opportunities in mainland Europe, the United States and the rest of the world.

Recognised as a European Centre of Excellence in a number of areas of research, our two universities help to maintain a large well educated workforce and provide an essential link to technology and innovation.  Because people love living here they tend to stay and put down roots.

The OMIS Britain's Best Cities 2005-2006 survey found that Brighton & Hove  achieved the highest business satisfaction rating (82%) for their "existing location" out of all the cities surveyed.
