Can't Wait Card
The Bladder and Bowel Foundation support the use of the Can't Wait Card. This is designed for people who may have an immediate need to use a toilet whilst out and about to be able to show it to businesses who may be able to offer use of their facilities. Further details can be found on the Bladder and Bowel Foundation websiteLocation of Accessible Toilets
To view or download opening hours and locations please see toilet locations & opening hours [pdf 84KB] or view map showing toilet locations
All our our new toilets are fully accessible, gender neutral units. These do not require RADAR keys. Some of our older sites still require RADAR keys. You can apply for a RADAR key from Brighton & Hove City Council.
Changing Places Toilet
Our fully attended Changing Places toilet is available at The Colonnade, Madeira Drive in Brighton. Wetton Cleaning Services have sponsored the installation and equipment.
The opening hours are:
09:00 to 18:00 (October to day preceeding Good Friday)
08:00 to 20:00 (Good Friday to end of September)
We have worked with Wetton Cleaning Services to raise the standards in disabled accessible toilets in Brighton and Hove to those in the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Amended wherever space allows.
This has included the installation of new toilet pans, sigange, alarms, grab rails and other equipment such as colostomy shelves.
For any further information on accessible toilets, please email cityclean@brighton-hove.gov.uk or phone us on (01273) 292929.
