Meals on wheels

service description

Frozen and hot meals delivered by volunteers to people in their own home.  A meal can be delivered at lunch time every day, or specified days as requested. Meals on Wheels can be requested directly from the WRVS. You do not need to go through Social Services.

Community Meals is a service contracted by social services from the Womens Royal Voluntary Service (WRVS) in Brighton & Hove.  All volunteers undergo a police check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (previously the Criminal Records Bureau).
