Regular Healthwalks

People walking in misty trees

The Special 10th Anniversary Programme of Walks & Events is out now!

You can download a copy of the programme below, which is valid until the new programme comes out in October.  There are 30 new one-off walks ranging from historical and cultural guided walks to nature walks and a special tour of the new Level.  All your favourite regular walks are also listed at the back.  If you would prefer a hard copy of the programme or would like to request some on behalf of a friend, or a number of copies for an organisation please contact the Healthwalks office.  We can also provide an easy to read plain-text version of the programme.  If you would like to automatically be sent an e-version of the new programme when it comes out please email healthwalks@brighton-hove.gov.uk.

The programme is designed to help you choose the right walks for you, and plan your journey.  If you are relatively new to walking, or unsure of your fitness levels we recommend you start with a green graded walk.  On your first walk introduce yourself to one of our Volunteer Walk Leaders (easy to spot in green and white Healthwalks uniform).  for your first walk you need to fill out a simple health questionnaire, but once done you won't need to do this again on subsequent walks unless your health has changed.  You can download the Health Questionnaire here to fill out in advance and take with you on your first walk, or arrive five minutes early so that a Walk Leader can give you a form to fill out at the walk.  Walks generally leave promptly at the time given on the Walk Programme.

If you are interested in one-off and special walks and events visit our special walks page.

**STOP PRESS, NEW LEVEL HEALTHWALKS IN 2013**
Healthwalks is part of the activity plan for The Level Restoration Project.  We will be including this popular community park in the Spring-Summer 2013 Led Walks Programme when general and special themed walks will run from the new Park Cafe.

You can also get more details on each of the walks by using the links below:

Healthwalks will try to make sure refreshments and toilet facilities are available on walks, but sometimes this is not possible. Please note that severe weather may cause walks to be cancelled.
