Health & Safety Team

Kensington Gardens

The Health & Safety and team monitors and advises on health & safety legislation in over 9,000 work premises in Brighton & Hove. Businesses are inspected to ensure that employees and visiting public are kept safe whilst on the premises. They are also responsible for investigating some accidents in the work place.

The for licences, including taxis, see our Licensing and Gambling page. Any premises where food is prepared or sold, must be registered with the Food Safety Team 28 days before opening.
