What should I do if my refuse has not been collected?
Before reporting a missed bin, please check that:
  • it was normal household waste
  • there was clear access to the rubbish
  • your rubbish was out from 6am on the day of collection
If all of the above apply, please report the missed bins by calling the cityclean helpline after 3pm on the same day as your missed collection on (01273) 292929 or by filling in an online comments form.
How can I arrange for larger items of rubbish to be collected?
You can pay for bulky items such as furniture, fridges and cookers to be collected by the council. For a full price list see our bulky waste page. To book a collection call the cityclean helpline on (01273) 292929.
