The council's Pest Control Department provide a service for the treatment and removal of pests in residential homes and businesses. We also offer advice on how to deal with pest problems yourself.

Which pests do your department deal with?

Our officers will treat for rats, mice, cockroaches, fleas and wasps. We do not however deal with any problems relating to bees, foxes, seagulls or pigeons. See our pest control webpage for more information.

How long will I have to wait for a pest control appointment?
We can usually arrange an appointment for the next 2-3 days.
How much does the pest control service cost?

All our services are chargeable, including the treatment of rats.
