City In Bloom - Go Blooming Wild!

Welcome to City in Bloom 2010

Welcome to this year’s City In Bloom. Organised by Brighton & Hove City Council, the annual City in Bloom awards are aimed at encouraging people to say it with flowers and brighten up their homes & streets with blooms. To mark the fact that 2010 is the U.N year of international biodiversity, this year’s theme is “Go Blooming Wild!”. Ufortunately, the deadline for this years competitions has now passed but there will be more competitions next year that you can start planning for!

This years City in Bloom campaign has been succesful and seen many entries from residential gardens and window box displays to blooming commercial fronts including local shops, pubs, hotels, cafes and restaurants. This year has also seen many group and community entries in the form of streets and blocks of flats. We would like to thank everyone who has made a special effort and contributed to filling the City of Brighton and Hove with wonderful floral displays.
