Central Hove parking scheme

How does the scheme work?

The scheme includes a number of measures to ease parking problems:

  • some areas are shared between permit holders and pay & display parking
  • some pay & display parking is limited to a maximum stay of two hours, in other places people are able to park for longer periods.
  • residents permits at £108 per year or £32 for three months
  • visitors vouchers at 50 per calander year
  • some stretches of roads, close to shops and businesses, are set aside for exclusive pay & display parking
  • short lengths of roadside near shops, hotels and businesses are marked out for loading bays.
  • business permits at £162 per year or £51 per three months
  • sea front pay and display

List of streets in the Area

There is currently an exception (car free housing) within this area and that is
